Abstract
A pot experiment was conducted during growing season 2012 – 2013 to evaluate treflan efficiency on emergence and seed productivty of (Loliumrigidum L.) with different doses (0.0 , 1.248 , 1.440) ml a.i./ ha., and different with app- lication method (spray on soil surface , incorporation 2cm with soil) under two typesof soil (clay , loam). The results showed that (86 , 82) %of rye grass emer- gence had reduced in two doses of treflan respectively. Also the herbicide doses gave reduction in number of tillers, Dwt and seed production up to (82.4 , 75.5)%, (83 , 84)%, (84.7 , 82)% for two herbicide doses respectively. On other hand, Treflan incorporation with the soil had reduced up to (32.4 , 40.8 , 43.7, 37.6)% in plant emergence, number of tillers, Dwt and seed production respectively ifit compared with herbicide sprayed on the soil surface. However, loamly soil influence and reduced all parameters of rey grass plant (percentage of emergence , number of tillers , Dwt , and seed production) up to (43 , 41.8 , 49.3 and 37.6)% respectively. All plants had died when herbicide doses incorporated with soil compered with spray on soil surface and in the loamly soil compared with clay soil. While treflanspray on clay soil surface had high (percentage of emergence , number of tillers, Dwt and seed production). comparsion with herbicide incor- poration with soil.
