The Kirkuk University Journal of Agricultural Sciences, published by the College of Agriculture at University of Kirkuk, has received the 2026 Seal of Recognition from FAO AGRIS, a global information system affiliated with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The Editorial Board confirmed that the journal has been registered as an AGRIS data provider within the AGRIS Open Data Set (ODS). This registration supports the dissemination of the journal’s bibliographic metadata through AGRIS and enables the official seal to be displayed on the journal’s website as evidence of active contribution to the AGRIS Network.

AGRIS ODS is an open, machine-readable dataset that provides metadata and links to research outputs in food and agriculture, supporting improved discoverability and reuse of scholarly records under open-data principles.

The Editorial Board added that the journal will continue technical and editorial development aimed at strengthening international visibility and interoperability with trusted scholarly platforms.
