The first editorial decision typically takes 6–8 weeks, but the total review and publication timeline may vary depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and author revisions.
Kirkuk University Journal For Agricultural Sciences (KUJAS) is a global double-blind peer reviewed electronic and print quarterly publication concerned with all aspects of Agricultural sciences. KUJAS publishes research papers, review papers and case reports across the broad field of Agricultural sciences.
KUJAS considers only Original Research Articles and Review Articles. Review Articles may be submitted by invitation or after prior approval from the Editor-in-Chief. Short communications, case reports, opinion papers, and non-research submissions are not considered for publication.
Manuscripts submitted to KUJAS are usually sent out to peer reviewers, although submissions that are out of scope for the journal or are of an unacceptably low standard may be rejected without review. Manuscripts with high similarity, generally above 20%, may be returned, revised, or rejected depending on editorial assessment of the similarity report. Potentially suitable manuscripts will generally be reviewed by at least two experts in the field with the aim of reaching a first decision as soon as possible.
