Abstract
The present study aims at identifying the openion of wheat farmers in the agriculture of the centre Kirkuk province about the obstacles that facing them during the process of crop services (plantation, harvest, and marketing), and to arrange the obstacles according to their importance's. At also aims of recognizing the correlation of the farmer's views about the obstacles that facing them with the variables of age, academic levels, holding size and the duration of participation in the extension activities. The study includes all the farmers present within the sector of the central section of Kirkuk province, their total number is 220. A random sample of 29% was selected .Therefore; the number of the objects is (64). Aguestionnaire was used as a data collection tool from the objects via personal interview, it is composed of two parts: the first included the measurement of the independent factors, while the second part included the measurements of the farmers view towards the obstacles that face them during the service operations crop the questionnaires consisted of (38) items it is distributed on three axes. Many statistical methods were used in the analysis of the data including: percentages, repetitions average account, Pearson equation, and spearman – rank equation. The results of the study show that, the obstacles of marketing is ranked the first, getting the highest weight average (2,49), the agricultural obstacles is ranked the second, geting an average of (2,43), while the harvest obstacles is ranked the last, getting (2,37). The study at the end reveals no correlation with the variables of age academic level or the duration of participation in guidance activities. The study ends with a collection of conclusions instructions and suggestions. The first of which is the performing similar studies aiming at finding out other unknown obstacles that may have an acknowledged effect on the future of agriculture in Iraq.
