Abstract
This study was conducted in the field of sheep at the college of Agriculture-University of Tikrit from 6/12/2017 until 21/2/2018 . 16 Awassi Lambs were used in this experiment, aged 4-5 months and average weight of 23.38± 0.14 Kg . These lambs were divided in to four groups with approximately same weights , then distributed the randomly into 4 treatments . In this experiment individual feeding system was used which included four rations with different levels of biochar (0% , 1% , 2% , 3% ) .Statistical analysis results showed that there was a significant increase (P<0.05) in the final weight and feed concentration intake and total fee intake (concentrate + hay) for the T2 comparison with T4 and a significant increase (P<0.05) for T2 in the average daily gain and total body gain and feed conversation ratio and in dry matter digestibility , organic matter digestibility , crude protein digestibility , crude fiber digestibility , nitrogen-free extract digestibility in comparison to T3 and T4 .
