Abstract
The research aimed to determine the cognitive awareness of livstock breeders of the zoonotic diseases between human and animals,in some areas of Ninevah Governorate .as well as identifying the corralation between the cognitive awarenees degree of livestock breeders and some variables.The sample consisted of three areas of Ninevah Governorate .the size of sample reach is (170)breeders .The results showed existence of reduction in the cognitive awareness level of livestock breeders of the zoonotic diseases .also results showed that existence of significant correlation between the cognitive awareness degree of the breeders of the zoonotic diseases and some independent variables ,namely :education period ,animal breeding experience period , total commitment for breeding,prior
traiing,exposure to veterinary information sources, oppsite to this ,there is no significant correlation between the breeders cognitive awareness of the zoonotic diseases with each of :age possession amount,and civilization openness,and social participation .The researcher has come up with some conclusions and recommendations ,some of which are :attemping to raise the cognitive awareness degree of the livestock breeders of the zoonotic diseases between human and animal through coordination between agricultural extension institution like the extension center in Ninevah and Ninevah agricultural directorate with its agricultural division through massive campaigns,and also through increasing the interst in the zoonotic diseases.
