Influence of wild Oat (Avena fatua L.) seed depth in soil under different date of sowing after spraying treflan herbicide on growth and seed production

Abstract
A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the growth and seed production of wild Oat ( Avena fatua L.) which had grown under different environmental condition . The study included two factors . The first was wild Oat seed depth in soil at (4 , 8 ) cm. while the second factor date of spraying treflan herbicide (directly , after 1 week , after 2 week , after 4 week , after 6 week , after 8 week ). The results showed that the seeds burial in soil at 4 cm. depth had supperpass significantly in all charecters compared with other seed depth in soil at 8 cm. depth. On other hand , grown after 8 week from spray treflan gave a good results in percentage of emergence and less effects, while , grown after 4 week from spray treflan had significant in high plant , number of tillers , number of leaves dry weight per plant and seed production . The interaction between seeds depth in soil at 4 cm. depth with grown after 8 week from spray treflan gave high percentage of emergences and less effects , while the interaction between seeds burial in soil at 4 cm. depth with grown after 4 week from spray treflan gave high plant , number of tillers , number of leaves , dry weight per plant and high seed production compared with other treatment.
