Abstract
Afield experiment was carried out at two location the firest is in Agriculture college of Mosul the second is in Faidah/Sumell/ Duhok governorate in 2012-2013 to study the effect of two irrigation system i.e ( rain fall only; supplemental irrigation with rain fall) on yield , yield components, and grain physiochemical properties of six bread wheat varieties (Tamoz/2,Ez/66, Abu-ghraeb/3, Telafar/3 Cham/6 and Iba’a/99) Afield experiment was carried out at two sites using split plot in RCBD design .The results showed the supplementary irrigation did not affect yield components and physiochemical properties of grain at both location except grain yield (gm/m2) in both location, wet gluten in Faidah and test weight in Mosul. Most varieties differed significantly in yield characters and its components, Cham\6 is the better in grain yield in two locations .The varieties differ significantly in protein ,ash percentage ,and in test weight in Faidah location and in all physiochemical characteristics accept wet gluten percentage in Mosul . The interaction between irrigation regime and varieties affect all yield characters and its components in Mosul location and physiochemical characteristics except oil and carbohydrate percentage in Faidah and wet gluten percentage in Mosul.
