Abstract
This experiment was conducted in AL-Hawija district (60 km North western Kirkuk Governorate) in the clay loam soil to study the Effect of Irrigation with waste water on growth , yield and yield component's characteristics of five varieties of cotton crop (Lachata , Cocker 310 , Cocker 5114 , Dunn 1047 , SP8886) in two experiments , Th first was irrigated with waste water (Wadi AL-Neft waters) and Second was irrigated with sweet waters (Kirkuk Irrigation project waters) . The two experiments was conducted in R.C.B.D. with three replication .
The results showed a significant differents between the varieties for all traits at irrigation with waste and sweet waters except the No. of vegetative branches/plant at irrigation with waste water . Cocker 5114 and Dunn 1047 varieties gave a highest yield (4403.33 , 4436.67 kg/ha) respectively when irrigated with waste waters and (4218.00 , 4220.00 kg/ha) respectively when irrigated with sweet waters .
