The persent research aims at determining the level of Sesame
planting in Al-Khudhraniya village (The centre of Al- Jirnaf area) for the scientific recommendations of Sesame planting and determining its relation with some variables. the research included (40) farmer chosen randomly wich represents (50%) of farmers whose total number is (80) farmer in the village . A questionnaire has been used as a tool to collect data from the farmers by personal interview.
The results shown that the application level of farmers is medium toward high . Also there were a significant correlation between the level of application of scientific recommendations and the following variables: (education, and the importance of the product of the yearly income for the farmers). But there were no significant correlation between the level of application of Sesame planting and the following variables: (age, area planted, information sources , agricultural experience, and land ownership). The results showned that there some problems like difficulty of getting good prices, the unavailability of fertilizers at suitable prices, no government support regarding machines fuel distribution. The research included some recommendations, the most important one is that supporting Sesame farmers by agricultural institution and finding solutions to other problems of farmers.
