Abstract
The research aimed at determining the Knowledge level of buffalo breeders concerned to scientific recommendations in the field of production the daily milk in Kirkuk province, determining the relationship between the knowledge level of buffalo breeders and the independent factors and iden- tifying the problems that buffalo breeders face in the field of daily milk production.Research sample hascomprised (76) breeders which represented (64%) of population. A random proportionate class sample where derived. Data have been collected by a questionnaire especially designed to deter- mine the .knowledge level, the questionnaire consisted of three parts: the first one included the following independent factors: age, level of education, number of years of practicing the buffalo raising. Income gained from milk production, the number of buffalo herd and exposure to extensional activities. The second part included a test of a level of knowledge. Persons correlation coefficient,spearman s order correlation were used in analyzing data.
The results showed that the mean number of knowledge level of respon- dents in the field of daily milk production is 29.26 degree and 52.63% of research sample degrees were medium. Also the Result srevealed that were apositive correlation betweenthe knowledge of breeders and each of indepen- dent factors: age, level of education, number of years of practicing the buffalo raising, and number of buffalo herd. But there were no relation with the factors: income gained from milk production and exposure to extensional activities.
